Players use vehicles to get across the map, drive away from gunfights, and even kill their opponents. The devs keep adding new vehicles and expanding the list of ways to move around the map, which makes the game even more fun to play. But to enjoy that fun, you’ll first need to learn everything about the vehicles in Warzone. That’s what we are here for today.
Whether you would like to soar through the skies or pull off crazy stunts, everything is possible in
ATV
This vehicle is perfect for all kinds of roads and places where there are actually no roads at all. Feel like going into the woods? Well, go ahead! This beast will take you anywhere. However, you’ll have to remember to cover your heads since ATVs aren't very good in terms of protecting you from snipers or other enemies. There are seats only for two, so an ATV won’t be a good choice for big squads.
SUV
This is another massive vehicle that can take your whole squad to almost any point on the map. It’s a bit bigger than the previous one, but even though both are similar, this one is a bit slower. It sticks out somewhat, so you will have to be careful when driving around in this thing.
Cargo Truck
An amazing vehicle for those who would like to not only get away from enemies but also load the truck with extra equipment that would come in handy later. This is the slowest vehicle in the game, but it does offer decent protection and lots of space, so there's little to complain about. You can use it as cover or as a way to transport your smaller vehicles for other purposes later in the fight. No doubt, CT is what you need if you are looking for something that can carry extra baggage and protect you from gunshots.
Helicopter
This is the only vehicle capable of going up in the sky, and it offers the highest speed and incredible durability. However, there is nothing perfect in this game, since otherwise, it would be imbalanced. Choppers are easy to spot and shoot at, so you will have to watch out for enemies even when you are far away from them. It has the capacity to fit four people, and also has a built-in system that will warn you about the missiles that are locked onto your helicopter, so you should luckily have enough time to escape.
Armored Truck
To get this truck, you’ll need to capture a satellite first. There are seats for a driver and turret operator, and the rest of the team can hop in and sit somewhere in the game. AT is very similar to cargo trucks, but armored trucks are upgradable and can be used for some serious encounters as both cover and a weapon.
Tactical Rover
TR is good for driving around the map with all four of your buddies, but it is not a good pick for those who are looking for decent protection. This all-around vehicle makes the Tactical Rover seem slightly better than ATV since it’s amazing off-road, can move fast, and has enough space for the whole team.
Dirt Bike
Season 4 introduced something we've been waiting for a long time: bikes! It’s meant for only two operators, and its high speed allows you to get away from any enemy within seconds. However, you should always be careful when riding the bike: the faster you get, the easier it becomes for you to lose driving control. Bikes also have pretty low health, so it will be hard to hold out for too long if someone starts shooting at you.
And now, let’s get to the best part of this guide: Warzone tips from our pros! Here’s what our amazing Warzone pro players, Baltheon and Harmony Fanboi, have shared with us:
Choose your vehicle wisely
There is no right or wrong answer, to be honest with you. It all depends on your playstyle and needs. If you have to move far away from a zone very quickly and there is no time to waste, use a chopper. SUVs are perfect for all kinds of trips, especially if you are looking for something that could provide you with decent speed. Cargo trucks can survive basically anything, so you can use them as protection. You should not use bikes and ATVs as your main vehicle since both can be destroyed easily, especially bikes. Also, you might accidentally lose control over your bike, which can be fatal.
Keep CT next to you
Whenever you are dropping in Verdansk, it's better to keep Bertha (Cargo Truck) next to you! It's a magnificent space-creating vehicle that will get you out of most of the troubles and also will make moving across the map way easier. For advanced players, we recommend using Helicopter with Recon contracts to land exactly where needed.
Use Bertha as a...ladder
You can use the Cargo Truck not only as a cover, but also as a ladder for some pushes. Let’s say that you are getting close to a station. You can take the classic entrance, but who wants that? Just park your Bertha, hop on it, and smash through the window.
You can forget about your stealthy tactics
Vehicles are always loud, no matter which you choose. Moving around the map on your feet is always stealthier than doing it on any vehicle type, so consider that when trying to remain unnoticed by your opponents.
Keep health in mind
Vehicles take a lot of damage from enemies, so you have to make sure that you don’t explode at the most inconvenient moment. You can see the vehicle’s health meter at the screen’s bottom, so whenever it starts flashing red, it’s better to stop driving and abandon the vehicle!
Vehicles are a huge part of the famous battle royale, which means that you can't just ignore their presence and avoid using them.
