Call of Duty: Season 2 is Rapidly Approaching

With the release trailer for season 2 and the roadmap's reveal, we have so Zombie such info on our hands we can't wait to share it all with you. You better get ready, because you’re definitely going to get blown away by today’s blog!

Call of Duty Cold War S1's Final Update

It is once again that time when a new season gets revealed. A few hours ago, a new Cold War Warzone trailer was released featuring all the juicy stuff that will be coming with Season 2. There was also the last update for Season 1, which we'll also briefly go over.So, for CoD Cold War changes this week, we did get a new playlist called Throwback Moshpit, which, as the name suggests, is all about nostalgia. In this playlist, you'll be playing on all remake maps we have in the game so far, all combined into one singular mode. It's a great playlist for those who want to grind some camo challenges or just to rank up in general since these maps are usually very fast-paced. So, you'll be getting a lot of kills and therefore earning a lot of XP. Alongside this playlist, we have the normal quick play rotation, which includes

• the Nuketown 24/7
• Gunfight blueprints
• Fireteam: Dirty Bomb
• Face-Off
• Prop Hunt
• Snipers only moshpit

Apart from playlists, we also have the double XP event going in both games, which also features the double battle pass progression and works in CoD Zombies mode. So if you haven't hit level 100 in your battle pass, this is going to help you out with that. For those that are grinding ranks, keep in mind that in the next season, the ranks are going to be reset for everyone who's the military base rank of 55. So if you've passed that, you're going to be reset back to rank 1, and you'll be back on the grind.

Evolving the Crossover with Call of Duty Warzone

So as we said, the trailer showed a lot of stuff. We ended up seeing a bunch of new operators. There'll be 4 new operators joining this season, but we've also seen some new DLC weapons in action, some of which have been leaked earlier. The new map has also been seen in the trailer, which takes place in Laos, it seems. But the best thing that is planned for this new Call of Duty update is, without a doubt, the Outbreak event. It's going to take place in Warzone too, which is going to tie the zombies to Verdansk. It also seems like we'll be getting new playable areas on this map. We've seen footage of Cpt. Price being inside a new bunker. At the very end of the trailer, we also saw the Vodianoy ship from Rebirth Island approaching Verdansk, signaling some kind of trouble heading to the map. So it's safe to say that some very big changes are coming to Cold War Warzone. With the reveal of the roadmap for the next season, we can now continue to discuss all the new stuff that will be coming to our favorite games very soon. That said, the roadmap calls the arrival of the ship to the shores of Verdansk – "The dark wave approaching." Maybe this ship brings the Zombies for the event, who knows?! What we don't have to speculate about are the new CoD maps coming to Cold War:

• 6v6 Apocalypse
• Golova
• Mansion for the Gunfight mode

And the new Warzone modes:

• Resurgence Extreme with 90 players
• Exfiltration
• Warzone Rumble

Then we'll also be getting the new Scorestreak which will allow you to equip the Gatling minigun.

Huge Content Drop for CoD Warzone

And now coming at you with a barrage of new items coming to the Warzone game and Cold War. Four new weapons with one assault rifle called Fara 83, one SMG LC10, and two melee weapons, the infamous Machete and the sapper shovel called E-Tool. Further down the season, we'll also eventually get the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow, the ZRG 20MM SR. Finally, on top of it all, we'll also be getting the reactive camo blueprints. (Someone is being jealous of the Apex Legend's reactive skins). We're far from being done for today because we'll also be getting 4 new operatives that go by the names Naga, Maxis, Rivas, and Wolf. And on top of it all, we're getting the new battle pass with a ton of new rewards in the form of skins, blueprints, and all the usual excitement.Finally, the MW2019 Store has two new sets to offer, one being called the Retro Renegade and featuring a blueprint, skins for vehicles, a watch, a sticker, a calling card, and even a vehicle horn. The second bundle is called The Debt Collector, and it is featuring this sort of Mafioso look.

That is all the news for the final update of Season 1 and what's going on in the CoD universe as well. As per usual, we should expect some major shifts in the Warzone meta, especially since we'll be getting a new SR. It doesn't look like we'll be getting another new Call of Duty Zombies map. But then again, the Firebase Z came out not that long ago, so nobody expects new maps anyway.
