After Warzone became a shelter for Cold War guns, the total amount of available weapons increased twofold. Now, more than ever, it's even harder to create a balanced loadout and choose the right guns for it. Luckily though, two of our best Warzone pro players came up with this list for Sniper Rifles and the best builds for them.

This won't be anything like a tier list, but if you're looking to try out new guns and don't know which mods make them better, this list is just what you need. If we take the SR category, it sometimes seems that the biggest difference between the MW and CW guns is just what they look like. The truth is a bit more complicated than that – each SR shines brighter with only certain kinds of attachments. So, let's find out which ones make the best SR builds in the game. Oh, and before we start – on the screenshots in this blog you might see a blueprint version of a gun used as a basis for a build. That is entirely unimportant. For any build presented in this list, you can use a default weapon for a base to build upon.

HDR

The sci-fi sniper rifle doesn’t even have a real-life counterpart. With lots of modification options you can really let your imagination fly with this one. But as for the best build ever, try these mods below:

Dragunov (SVD)

The famous or infamous (depending on how you look at it) SVD rifle with the extended barrel and an unprecedented 20-round extended mag, and the top-shelf, high-tech stock will make you forget that there are other SRs in this game.

AX-50

The big boy toy that features a better stock, improved grip, longer barrel, a suppressor and a laser sight to get the most of this gun. All of these mods are going to improve accuracy, range and control for the cost of slightly reduced mobility. That’s the price worth paying, right?

Rytec HE Build

This first of the two Rytec builds is packed with the 25x59mm Explosive rounds. Yep, you heard it right! To nullify the lower magazine capacity, you gotta take the perk that lets you reload faster. Other than that, you’re good to go.

Rytec

The second Rytec build is all about range and accuracy. It’s all about making sure that firing a .50 cal round is as comfortable as it can get. Hell, with this build, you’ll be able to shoot down paratroopers in midair with ease!

SP-R 208

SP-R 208, also known as the M24 in real life, is the bread and butter of any Marksman. Yes, it is a marksman rifle, but because it’s a bolt action rifle nonetheless, it’s good enough to be considered a full-size sniper. With a build like ours that focuses on improving the gun's effective range while also making it almost the most accurate gun in the game, who needs a sniper rifle when you have this?

Kar 98K ADS Build

The first of the two Kar98 builds is designed for aggressive snipers who like to chase down their prey. Both the improved stock and the grip will let you stay in ADS, lead your target and make follow-up shots with ease. Nothing will escape your eagle eye!

Kar 98k

The second build for this gun that we have here is a more traditional one. It focuses on range and accuracy, which means that it won’t matter how far away your enemies have run, ‘cause they will always end up riddled with your bullets!

M82

Oh, the legendary .50 cal Barrett – every Hollywood action movie used to feature this monster of a rifle. It looks like an AT rifle, but it’s actually meant to be used against enemy troops. There’s nothing worse than being caught in the sights of this weapon.
