Season 8 in Apex: Theories

The next season of AL will take place in February, at the beginning of the month. However, due to the worldwide pandemic, the release might be delayed. But let’s keep our heads up guys! Respawn Entertainment delivered a suburb Season 7 release during the crisis, and now when things are hopefully starting to look up, they will do the same good job for Season 8.

So, what’s the new Apex chapter gonna feature? Here are all the details we have on Season 8 so far:

Battle Pass

The Battle Pass system is unlikely to change. Apex stats and ranks might do, but usually, BP stays the same. The price is still 950 coins, and if you buy the previous Battle Pass, you can get the same amount of coins by leveling it up to the max.

Legends

A few months ago, we saw a picture of all Legends displayed together, where we could also see a couple of new names. Does this mean that someone new is coming to the game? For sure! When the new hero joins Apex Legends tier list, we’ll let you know right away, so stay tuned.

Weapons

The game will receive two new weapons, possibly rifles. Audio files for both have been recently spotted in the Apex game, but there are no details just yet.

Maps

Olympus has become one of the biggest updates of the current season, which means that there won’t be any new maps soon. New locations, updates, and patch notes will go live at the beginning of the next season, but there probably won’t be any new maps.

Other changes

A few guns might experience a couple of nerfs to add balance. Nothing else is going to change much. The Olympus map might get a few tweaks and maybe a bunch of new locations.

That’s it for now, but only for now. We are keeping an eye out for any news and updates, so come to our blog later to see what else has happened in the Apex community.

Are There Any Apex Legends Patch Notes on Season 9?

Season 9 is not going to launch very soon, but we still can try to guess what’s going to happen, right? In one of the reviews, the Game Director has mentioned Season 9 and hinted at some epic things to come.

We don’t know what kind of changes the game will experience during Season 9, but the devs say that we should expect a massive update. So what will it be? Is it going to be another legend or maybe a new map? Or the entire meta is gonna get a drastic shake-up?

The developers promise some “Major things you don’t expect,” which can be literally anything. Our number one guess is a couple of new modes that are not connected to Battle Royale. LTMs were a success, which is a sign that we might get a few new modes like that as well.

Who knows, maybe, Respawn will give us a fresh story. There were a couple of hints at something like that in Season 5 and 6, so sooner or later, it’s bound to happen.

Will there be any PvE modes? This is also something that might be added in Season 9. Why not, right?

That’s all the theories we have right now. Of course, the promised updates might turn out to be something completely different, so all we can do right now is just wait and do our best to finish Season 7 the right way.

4 Apex Legend Tips You Should Always Keep in Mind

So what should those who are worried about their Apex ranking and successful end of the season do? We’ve got a whole month to go, so instead of panicking, let’s just learn how to be good at the game. Here are a couple of tips that even pro players use to get a better Apex Legends rank:

Know your character well

Your Apex Legends rank partially depends on how well you know your Legend and their skills. Study all the nuances and abilities to always be ready to use them in a fight. There are no best Legends in Apex, you are the one who can make them stand out!

Study the map

The new map, Olympus, is truly huge, and it contains many places, knowing which could give you a great advantage. Take some time to visit and learn all the areas of interest. To make Apex Legends gameplay as enjoyable as it can be, you should make sure you know the map well.

Grab that loot

Supply boxes and other loot chests are spread around the map, so whenever you notice any form of loot, be sure to grab it. You should always pay attention to the surrounding environment since those chests are often hidden on the map and can be hard to notice.

Split while landing

You will have to stick to each other during the match, but it is better to split up when you land. This way, you will grab armor and guns faster.

Everything is pretty easy, right? These are the tips that real pros use, so following these is a must if you want to become a good player yourself. And if you would like to know more about pro gaming and how to start playing like a pro, we’ve got more details prepared for you.

How Did Apex Legends Gameplay Change in Season 7?

Season 7 brought us many changes, both good and bad. Some things like Apex ranks didn’t change much, while others were updated or even removed. Apex Legends has received the much-needed updates, one of them being a new map called Olympus. It’s a huge map that offers many areas to be explored. It took some time for us to get used to it, but now that we did it, this map has brought nothing but joy to all Apex fans.

Many other important fixes happened in S7. Guns were removed from the crafting pool, and what is more, your opponents can now take the items your teammates have crafted, which used to be a thing that annoyed everyone in Season 6.

Our Legends also went through a couple of improvements. Loba has become a better Support, Pathfinder’s Grappling Hook got an increased distance, and Wattson’s Perimeter Fence went from 10 to 15 damage per touch.

Of course, Season 7 isn’t perfect. There are a few changes that didn’t have to happen, but they did anyway. Prowler was removed, and now you can only find it in the Supply Drops. The Triple Take was also nerfed.

A new way to get around the map, Trident, has also raised a couple of questions. Some players say that it is just a copy of Fortnite, where vehicles also appeared only a few months ago. However, Tridents made many things easier, so most Apex players are satisfied with it.

How do you feel about all these changes? We know that Season 7 has a lot of Apex Legends ranked rewards to offer, so there is no time to waste. If you feel like you still haven’t got used to it completely, our pro players know how to help you take care of that Apex Legends stat tracking and other challenges. So how about a team-up?
