More Division 2 Content Is Coming Up This Year

With the whole community convinced that The Division 2 is living its last season, Ubisoft made it perfectly clear that they do not intend to let the game go gentle into that good night. Looks like the new content update is on the way, and here’s everything we know so far.

The Division 2 Is Getting Another Update

Yes, ladies and gents, it’s official: Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is about to have another content update later this year. Ubisoft’s latest announcement came out as a big surprise as TU12 and Season 4 of the Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion were supposed to be the end of it, especially with the season being called End of Watch. Following the devs’ Twitter post and the message on the official website, all the Division 2 forums are now brimming with excitement and speculations on what kind of content we should expect and when the big release will finally hit. Right here in this article, we’ll give you all the latest info on the upcoming update, so read on and enjoy.

Tom Clancy's The Division 2 Is Not Done Yet

A while ago Ubisoft surprised all Division 2 fans with their statement of the new content drop for the title being in the works. With the Division 2 Manhunt story and a bunch of limited-time events, the game was basically nearing its lifespan, and lots of fans were theorizing about the Division 3 game being the next step for the devs or the franchise being abandoned for good. Later on, the news about Ubisoft’s collaboration with Lucasfilm Games on the new Star Wars title started popping up, and the whole community was dead sure that it’s time to call it a night. But well, not so fast. It looks like Ubisoft is not ready to give up on their brainchild yet.

We don’t have much info on what is to come, except for a rather vague line that some “additional content” will be released in 2021. Our best guess is that we won’t see anything of such a large scale as TU12 or the next-in-line Season 5 with new Division 2 exotic weapons to chase. The content will probably be more similar to the Year 2 rotation with new targets and events to fill out the roadmap. Maybe we’ll even get a couple of new Division 2 gear sets to grind for, which would be absolutely awesome. While the official sources are scarce on details and it’s too early to make any solid predictions, the one thing we know for sure is that the devs will continue supporting the game, and if you stepped back from your Division 2 adventures, here’s a good reason for you to come back.
