Hey guys, long time no see! In this blog entry, let’s hear it for our incredible Apex Legends PRO Theh1d!
Omar, aka Theh1d from Lebanon, is in his junior year of majoring in business management with a minor in psychology and… absolutely rocking it in Apex Legends in his spare time. When he was a kid, Omar tried a game on his dad's laptop and all of a sudden found himself in love. A couple of years later, he turned into a full-on gamer with very decent results in most titles he played. But it was Apex Legends that really stole his heart.
Starting off as a casual, Omar has been playing Apex since launch.
‘I was horrible at it at first,’ he confesses. ‘That was until Season 3 when I started practising and putting a good amount of hours into it to become better and better. I took a break from Season 4 to Season 6. I was a little rusty but I still had my skills, and now I practise every day to improve and become an even better player.’
This strive for perfection is working out really well for Omar. An aspiring esports athlete, he already placed fifth in the middle-eastern ALGS. And his Apex stats are pretty astonishing as well: a familiar face in Diamond lobbies, he has 31,218 kills, 2,590 wins, and a 22% win rate!
A part of LegionFarm for 3 months now, Omar says that he started this job as a gateway to pursue his dream of being a content creator and making a living by streaming one day. Constantly improving his communication and coaching skills, Omar has already earned himself 7 regular clients on our platform and there are definitely more to come.
‘Balancing LF and studying is a hassle to be honest since I need to contribute a good amount of time to both,’ he confides. ‘I love my community and can't wait for myself to grow even more and LF allows me to do what I love AND make money out of it. Thanks to the money I made from LegionFarm, I was able to buy a PC for my brother, become more independent and pay my college fees!’
